General Guidelines
Party Resource PH allows users to add content, reviews, ratings and send direct messages to suppliers. We have general and specific guidelines for other types of content that you may contribute to the site.
- Inappropriate content: Imagery and colorful language is great, but there’s no need for threats, harassment, lewdness, hate speech, and other displays of bigotry.
- Promotional content: Business Owners can add content on their business profile page. However, we do not encourage too much promotional content. One commercial or promotional content is fine at a given time. This makes sure that Party Resource PH is useful for consumers and not flooded with too much commercial noise. If you want to self-promote, place your social media links on your profile page to redirect customers to additional promotions you may have.
- Relevance: Please make sure your contributions are relevant and appropriate. Business profile pages should describe what you do and what your business offers to customers. Meanwhile, customer reviews and ratings should focus on your overall customer experience. Ratings and reviews aren’t the place for rants about a business’s employment practices, political ideologies, extraordinary circumstances, or other matters that don’t focus on the consumer experience.
- Conflicts of interest: Let’s make contributions objective and unbiased, no fake reviews please. So please don’t write reviews for your own business or employer, your friends’ or relatives’ business, your peers or competitors, or businesses in your networking group.
- Privacy: Don’t publicize other people’s private information. Please don’t post other people’s full names unless you’re referring to service providers who are commonly identified by or commonly share their own full names.
- Intellectual property: Don’t swipe content from other sites or users. We are sure you can write your own reviews and use your own personal photos.
- Demanding payment: Please do not use ratings and reviews to refund or remedy a bad experience. Another example is using your rating or review to extract payment for removal or posting of said review.

Review Guidelines
The best reviews have a rich narrative, with a lot of detail with a few helpful tips for other customers.
- Personal experience: Make it personal by sharing your firsthand experience. Tell us your story not someone else’s story and be as specific as you can be. Do avoid giving very broad generalizations or providing conclusions without supporting facts.
- Accuracy: Be as accurate and factual. Do share your opinions but avoid exaggerations, misrepresentations or fabrications in your experience. We fully expect you to stand behind your review because when it comes to any factual disputes Party Resource PH does not take sides.
- Review updates: It’s best that your review updates tell about new experiences or interactions. Instead of creating a new review just edit your previous review to add new insights or to update an old experience.
Photo Guidelines
Photos are a great way to show information about a business or an experience.
- Business photos should be relevant to your business and should reflect a normal consumer experience. (ex. Your logo, actual photos of your business location, business offers)
- Photos that showcase personal experiences with a business (e.g., your smiling group of friends at the bar, the fly in your soup) may be removed from the photo gallery of the business. Instead it can be placed on your review if you wrote one about the business.
User Profile Guidelines
Your user profile tells people who you are and what your interests are. In general users find reviews relevant enough to read when they know and trust the person. So, make sure your profile is not empty or not having any inappropriate content because it will make your profile look spammy.
Messaging Guidelines
We have a messaging feature that allows customers to directly contact business owners. We would like to remind you of a few things
- Do not use the messaging to harass business owners or send them inappropriate content.
- User accounts are for personal and non-commercial use
- Business owners can reply to reviews on their page so we encourage business owners to add a clear photo of their business.
Business Owner Guidelines
Here are some words of wisdom for Business owners:
- Your Business Page: Your business page tells people what is unique or special about your products or services. Always keep it relevant and updated.
- Public Comments: Direct emails are often the best way to resolve a dispute with an unhappy or dissatisfied customer. However, business owners can also address issues publicly by replying to a review as a public comment.
- We ask that business owners upload a clear photo of themselves in their profiles to help identify and personalize their message.
- We are reminding business owners not to use public comments and replies to reviews to do any of the following: advertise, launch personal attacks, or offer an incentive to change a review.
- Photos: Photos are a great way to creatively promote your business on Party Resource PH. Keep the imagery clean by avoiding images that show violence, drug use, nudity, near nudity, or suggestive acts. Also, use the video to promote your products and services not to attack other businesses, users, or Party Resource PH; request or solicit reviews from users; or respond to user reviews.
- Don’t ask for reviews and offer to pay for them: Please do not ever offer compensation in any form – monetary, freebies, discounts in exchange for reviews.
